Most of the time when people call us is when a near by brush fire has damaged their home with smoke. It is definitely frustrating time because nothing you do can take this smell away. We sometimes use a machine called an ozone generator to help remove any kind of odor. The ozone machine splits apart oxygen to generate ozone with electrical charges. Something that happens naturally through thunderstorms, where the 3 oxygen molecules in Ozone detaches and then reattaches to the odor molecule causing the smell to disappear .
As long as the ozone machine is on, we ask humans and pets to leave the home as it is not safe to breathe in.
